if you have an inflatable kiddie pool?

Does it loose air overnight?  Do you have to keep blowing it up every time you use it?  Just wondering, because I?ve gotten 2 so far and when I left it out overnight the next morning I needed to pump more air into them. The first one had a canopy and the canopy part lost air. The 2nd one had a whale that sprays water and the whale part lost air.

  • Not the pool that I have - it has been outside now since Monday and has not lost any air so far......but mine also does not do anything cool like spray water either!

  • Every few days we have to add a little more air but not too much

  • Yes, overnight the air temperature goes down and the air inside the plastic condenses (like your car tires in the winter) and you have to add more air pressure to keep it filled.

Also if left out in the sun too long, it warms up the plastic and makes it more flexible, also requiring more air pressure to keep it upright.  We have the jungle canopy one with the palm trees that sprinkle water down if you hook up the hose :)

  • We have the one with the whale that shoots water, and it did seem to lose air and so did the sides from ds laying on it. I filled it over the weekend and i will have to re pump up the sides and whale.

  • I have only used it once and it is sitting inflated in my garage.  I haven't tested the air pressure on it, but it looks fine.  It has been a week since he was in it.
  • We have one that has a rainbow canopy and I have to blow up the rainbow every time.
