Hotel in Tacoma?

We are up here in Edmonds and we are going to the Wall in Dec. and we'd like to stay the night down there so we don't have to worry about driving back up here. Where the heck can we stay? Any help would be much appreciated.

    DH and I were married in Tacoma and spent the night at the Silver Cloud Inn right on the waterfront. Its beautiful...

    No advice here, I just wanted to say that Silver Cloud looks nice!  I lived in Old Town Tacoma in high school and it is a pretty part of town.  I didn't even know that hotel was over there!

    The Hotel Murano is in DT Tacoma. Many of the people who perform at the Tacoma Dome stay there too so you might end up running into somebody.

    Hotel Murano is the nicest hotel downtown and you can take the link light rail to the concert (free)!  The closest hotel to the Tacoma Dome is the Best Western Tacoma Dome Hotel which went through renovations recently so I am sure it is fine.  There is also the Courtyard Marriot which is right by the Hotel Murano that is brand new and really nice.

    My Inlaws have stayed in the Tacoma Dome Best Western and the LaQuinta Inn, they prefer the LaQunita ( which is just down the street) the rates are reasonable and it is close to the freeway.

    Thank you! I didn't even know where to start. I think I have been down there about 3 times ever. The Murano looks like where I'd want to stay but I bet level headed DH won't. Maybe if I tell him Roger Waters is staying there it'll increase my chances.
