AF showed last night. ?So now I have no chance of Ethan having a sibling before he's 3. ?:-( ? We really wanted them no more than 3 years apart and now who knows when/if we'll even have another one. ?We've been trying almost 10 months. ?:-(
You have no idea how much I can relate. I've been having trouble sleeping lately, b/c it's coming upon the time where if I don't get pg by Oct. 30 (when Ava was conceived) they will be OVER 3 years apart. I've already given in to the fact that they will be at least 3 yrs apart, but OVER?? It's hard, hang in there, I konw it's so tough going through month after month of no bfp's.
I'm sorry. I can't imagine having gotten your hopes up for 10 months with no luck. While 3 years may seem horrible after shooting for 2 years, but I'm sure there are also many positives for that gap. Good luck!
There is no feeling worse in the world than wanting a baby and not being able to have one!
FWIW, there are SO many benefits to that age gap --- #1 being that they will most likely be the best of friends as adults, which is when it's ultimately important!
Aw, lamb, sorry you?re bummed. But think of it this way: I would have though a 3-4 year difference would be easier than a 2-3 year one. At least, that?s the gap we?re planning. And Ethan gets more mommy time!

My brother and I are 4 years apart and we were always very close. And my mom loved that I was in school when he was born so she could spend quality alone time with him.
Thanks, ladies. ?I appreciate your support and encouragement. ?I know there will be benefits to having them a little further apart, too, but it's nice to hear them right now. ?:-)
Part of what worries me is that we've decided not to have any medical intervention in TTC b/c my body can't handle multiples. ?So if my body won't do it on its own, we won't be having another baby. ?I'm starting to worry that that's going to be the case.?
I'm sorry sweetie! But honestly I like the age gap like that....Josh & Britt are 3.5 yrs apart and it was so easy and yes there were some sibling rivalry and stuff but they are really close now they are much older.
Have you talk to your dr about the difficulties of TTC? I hope it happens soon for you!

My kids are almost exactly 3 years apart....that is what we planned on purpose! I think it is a wonderful age gap. Don't get down on yourself. Best of luck!
Don't stress about timing. I'm petrified to have 2 exactly 2 years apart. I thought thats what I wanted, but it seems like everyone I talk to lately is so happy they're 3+ years apart and how much easier it is. The older child is potty trained, and so much more of a help at 3 then they are at 2.
That sucks--I'm sorry! One month beyond 3 years, or even a few, won't make that big of a difference, but I know what you mean about having that "deadline" in mind and not making it. I hope next month is your month!
I'm so sorry! We are also TTC #2 (but are only on the 4th month now with no luck yet) and I'm only getting my period every other month! I'm trying not to get discouraged here myself because with my period coming every other month, who knows how long it will take?
Re: bummed--Ethan will be least 3 before he's a big brother
I am really sorry, Sarah. I hope it happens soon for you.

Sorry! I really wanted my kids no more than two years apart but I guess life has other plans.
Good Luck honey, I hope it happens soon!!!
