I'm assuming in the bathroom, but thought for PT purposes, maybe it is better if it is out in the middle of a room or something? I'm not PT yet, but will be in a few months so I'm basically taking notes at this point! LOL
Right now she has a potty downstairs in the family room and another potty upstairs in her room or my room depending on where we are hanging. She also has potty rings but has not actually used them yet. We are on day 4 of pting.

We kept one in the living room for the first couple weeks. When she got the hang of the stepping stool/toilet height, the potty disappeared into the garage. She's been fine without it.
We were very adamant that the potty is in the bathroom. That's where its always going to be. Not to mention, there is less distractions in the bathroom vs. looking at all their toys in the family room, bedroom, etc. DS has never had issues with getting there in time. I mean if he can hold it for 2 hours, he can hold it a few extra seconds to the bathroom.
