great news about laboring at the hospital

I posted before about how worried I am that we have an hour drive to the hospital that we will be delivering at. (last time it was only 5minn!) We switched to this hospital because they have waterbirth as an option.

Well I talked with the midwife and she wants us to come early. I was concerned that they may not admit me early and what would we do in a small town while in labor, perhaps in the middle of the night.

She reassured us that we can come anytime and hang out there. They only have 4 beds, but they are rarely full so she said we can hang out there as long as we want. Such a relief to know and one less stress with my hopeful second natural birth!

    that's great!!  i went to the hosp right after my water broke b/c we had no power (big ice storm the day before)...i wasn't too interested in laboring at home w/out heat and hot water!  and i had a wonderful experience our our hospital's birthing center...it was like a nice hotel.  :)
    Childhood cancer (DH) + chemo + radiation = 0 sperm.
    LO #1 - 1 unmedicated/self-monitored IUI w/ donor sperm.
    LO #2 - 1 m/c, 2 BFNs, 4th IUI worked (unmedicated/self-monitored with new donor sperm).
    Life is beautiful!
