Trouble TTC

XP: Endo gals

I had my lap at the end of April. I was pain free for 3-4 weeks after I recovered from my surgery. Within the last few weeks some pain has come back (with intercourse and on my left side). The last 3 times we have had intercourse it has been painful. My side hurts today (like it was before the lap). I should be ovulating anyday now.

Could the pain on my side be from ovulation and not the endo? If it is ovulation would I have pain with intercourse? What treatment did you do besides the lap? I have bone loss so I don't know if the Lupron is a possibility for me. Should I just set up an appt with my RE? Any advice or suggestions are appreciated!

Re: XP: Endo gals

  • Hmm, I don't have endo, but I get O pain. Mine has  never cost me pain for intercourse. I think you may want to go get it checked out. I would suggest an RE like you said. You don't want to let it go if it is endo. GL

I had a lap at the end of March.  It took a couple of months before my pain improved.  One problem I had was pain during/after intercourse  This was especially bad around O time.  I did have some pain during intercourse around O time again this past cycle, but I don't think it is the endo again.  I think mine may just something I have with sex around O time.  It isn't as bad or persist as long as my pre lap pain and my AF pain is better now.

I would talk to your doctor about it.  I would probably also keep track of when the pain is and how bad it is to see if it keeps getting worse or if it is consistent.  I hope it gets better and isn't endo again so soon.  Good luck!
