Help! I think DD may have a cold :(

DH had a cold and is still not 100% over it. I kept DD away from him as much as I could. Now my throat has been sore for the past couple of days and tonight DD seems congested. She got upset while I was changing her and coughed up some phlegm. She is resting now but what can I do to help her feel better and ease the congestion? TIA!

    Humidifier, saline nasal drops (use before aspirating any mucous from the nose) and if you BF, continue as the antibodies will be transfer to LO via BM.

    My DD has a cold and she really likes hot steams in the shower. I turn the shower as hot as it goes and just stand at the other end of the shower holding her.  Her cough sounds so much better.

    Thanks! I am sending DH for a humidifier. She isn't coughing, thankfully, so hopefully this will help.

    Ugh, DS has a cold right now too and I hate it.

    Use a humidifier, try and have her sleep with her head elevated and use saline nose drops when you aspirate her nose. I also picked up some baby Vick's today to rub on his chest.

    Also, sitting in the bathroom with the steam from a hot shower helps. Just don't stay in too long.

    With DS, the cough came later. Hope she feels better! It sucks having a sick baby =(

    She sleeps elevated in the rock n play sleeper. I should get the vicks too. Thanks! Hope your DS feels better as well!

    DD has had a cold for the past 3 days as well. We've been using a humidifier and are planning to pick up some Baby Vicks if she's still congested tomorrow.
