Looking for ideas for Babymoons within two hours of Cleveland. Looking even at locations in Pittsburgh and Columbus too. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I've always wanted to go up to Put in Bay. I've heard it is a really nice fun place. Just laying out at the hotel, maybe going out on a boat and enjoying the lake. Sounds like it would be a good babymoon to me!
We're going to see Tom Petty in Pittsburgh in July. That might be fun to get away go to Pittsburgh have dinner and go to a concert. Then stay the night and maybe do some shopping the next day. Depends what kind of vacation you would like.

We did a weekend trip, staying at 5 Corners B&B in Amherst. Had a lovely dinner at Chez Francois in Vermilion and strolled around the town there. The next day, we had couples massages at Kneaded Touch (yes, they do pg massage -- that's what mine was) in Amherst. Even though we were only 1 hr away from home, it felt like we were miles away!

The Walden Spa in Aurora is amazing! I'd recommend staying a night and enjoying everything they have to offer! You can also google "babymoons Ohio" and it will pull up local hotels/day spas that offer "Babymoon packages". We are doing this for our trip to New York and they include extra pillows, a baby gift upon arrival and other cute little things. Good Luck!
Landoll's Mohican Castle in Loudonville is wonderful! It is a very relaxing atmosphere; you can stay in the actual castle or they do have other cottage type places where you can stay on the grounds. They have a pool and they can also set up massages for you. There is one restaurant on the grounds and they provide breakfast for you. You can check it out online; if you do want to go here I would strongly recommend going Sunday through Thursday because all of the rooms are 1/2 off! The Landoll Suite is the best room in the castle; I would strongly recommend this room (it is actually 3 stories, you have your own private entryway, own private balcony, beautiful view of the grounds, etc.). My husband and I are actually considering going here again before the end of summer, as we are both teachers. Even though baby isn't due until November, it is much easier for both of us to get away during the summer!
Another (slightly further) option is Oglebay resort in Wheeling, West Virginia. This is more of a 2 1/2 to 3 hour drive, but worth it. It is another great place, very couple and family friendly. Their mountaineer breakfast buffet is one of the best buffets I have ever had! You can also check this out online. Good luck and I hope you find a fantastic getaway for your babymoon!
We just went to Pittsburgh a couple of weeks ago for a long weekend and it was nice. There's not a TON to do, but definitely a good 'get-away' area if needed!
We just went to Niagara Falls/Toronto this past week for another 'get-away' and it was GREAT! I'd recommend doing that if you can make it for 5 hours in the car. There is a TON to do and see and it's really great weather up there now!
