I'm curious too - we have sooo many orange veg and not a lot of green yet. I made some broc on Sat but DD was teething big time Sun/Mon so really only had a few bits on Sunday. She wasn't gassy, but probably only had 3 bits...
I think M was about 7 or 8 months old when I gave it to her. We were actually out to eat and my steamed vegies had some in it. I smooshed a few of the tips with my fork and gave it to her - she loved it. She didn't have any issues with gas.

We haven't done spinach - I read something about being careful w/spinach & carrots because of the nitrates? I have done peas and green beans, though and they worked out very well. Of course, LO eats anything and everything. The peas she was a little hesitant at first because of the texture, but she got used to them.

I think I may have given her organic pre-made babyfood with broccoli the first time she had it at around 7 or 8 months or so, but since then I have mashed it up and put it in a few things and she doesn't seem to have any more gas than usual.

I gave M broccoli around 2.5 months.
He didn't have spinach until two weekends ago when we shared spinach ricotta ravioli at a nice Italian place.
