CDing Question

We recently switched to CDs, but not full time yet. I just bought a pail for the wet diapers, but I need to get a bag. Do I need to get a diaper pail liner or can I just use a regular laundry bag. I will probably wash every day, so I don't know if that factors into the answer.

TIA

Re: CDing Question

  • I would think an actual CD pail liner would be better because of the PUL lining. You will be putting wet/soiled inserts/diapers into the bag, so unless your laundry bag is waterproof, it will leave your bag soaking wet and dirty the pail every time.

  • I use a WAHMies pail liner (it is PUL), but I'm pretty sure I've read over on the EFF board of some of the girls using a pillow case. So, I think a regular laundry bag would probably work, especially if you wash every day. Since I use prefolds, there is nothing to keep the wetness in when it's in the bag, so I wanted something waterproof. I think if I was using pockets or AIO's it would be less likely to leak out, and a laundry bag would work just fine.
  • Thanks ladies.
