PT technique

I don't know if this will work for anyone else, but my DD likes to do everything my DH and I do. She likes to prove that she is independent. So everytime we are about to go outside or leave the house we say to her "mom and dad have to use the potty, which one should we use". She always responds with "no, Alana goes first". Then after she uses the potty she will tell us which potty we can use. She likes that she is in control of the situation and I like that she goes before we leave and is able to stay dry.

    My DS is the same way.  Everything we and DD do, he wants to do.  Thanks for that tip.. I will have to try it.  Smile
