How often do you file/cut LO's nails?

I have to file DS's nails every 5-7 days or he will scratch his face while he's sleeping. It seems crazy to me that I have to do it so often. How often do you ladies do your LO's nails?

1x/week...usually after her last bottle...when she is calm and in a food coma.

Ditto. I have to wait until he's sleeping. I cut his toe nails about once a week too.

Once a week I clip them. So far, I can still do it while he's awake. My oldest got to a point where he could fight the nail clipping so bad that he got an oreo cookie after nail clipping once a week. I am so not above bribery once the kids are old enough.
