I know this seems like a tri question, but here it is. DD slept in the co-sleeper for the first 6 months, but now we've successfully transitioned her to the crib. So, we've never really had a chance to try out our monitors. We have the Graco iVibe. Well, it SUCKS ROYALLY.
When I woke up this morning, all I could hear was static. Something told me to go into the nursery, and DD was screaming her head off, no telling for how long. And all I heard was static. So I am done with this monitor.
Please recommend your awesome baby monitor. Our house is 1261 sq. ft., but our room is on the opposite end from the nursery. TIA!
Re: please rec your baby monitors
We have the Summer Video Monitor and we LOVE it! I take it outside with me on the weekends while DS naps and have no problems with it. I also love that I can just hit a button and I can see him sleeping and breathing in his crib.

I am lurking from 3-6. We have a three story house about the same size and we love the Summer Infant Day & Night Handheld Color Video Monitor https://www.diapers.com/Product/ProductDetail.aspx?productid=20418. I use it in our basement and DD?s nursery is on the top level and it works fine. I have heard people say you can sometimes see other people?s houses, just like with traditional ones the signals can cross, I have not had this problem but I make sure I don?t say anything I would not want others to hear when it is on or walk in front of the camera in something I would not want others to see me wearing.
