  • We brought his pack n play but he slept with us (he sleeps in our bed at home too)

Little swimmers are ok, they do leak pee so I would put them on right before we got to the beach or pool- I wouldn't just let him hang out in the hotel with them on. He did pee on me once while wearing a swim diaper.

I got a beach tent. That was nice to have for naps on the beach.  I think its called Lil' Nursery. It was also nice to have the umbrella stroller for walks on the beach.  I felt we packed up my sons whole life for our vacation but I can't really think of anything else right now! Good luck!

  • We did the beach tent but DD hated the beach so it was useless. We brought the PNP because my fear is the hotel will give it to someone else and DD won't have anywhere to sleep. Bring lots of recognizable things like books, toys, blankets. DD hated being away from home and was comforted by having the regular bedtime stories and toys every day.

We just got back from the beach. We brought the PNP and her mobile for sleeping. For the beach, we have a tent, a sheet to put down under the tent, and we brought a blow-up baby pool. We tried bringing G down to the beach the first day without the pool, but she was hot and bored and miserable. The next 6 days she played in the pool and crawled in and out as she pleased. It was a pain in the arse to set up every day and bring the buckets of fresh water to fill up the pool, but to have a happy baby was totally worth it. Oh, and we also brought her little travel high chair so she had somewhere to eat.
