OMFG - I am so beyond pissed***CXL IUI mentioned

I am about to go mental on my RE office. I've been waiting for my nurse - who I love - to call for f/up on my b/w and u/s from this morning's appt and just to confirm our Wed afternoon IUI appt.

Apparently I have already ovulated. WHAT. THE. FVCK. I KNEW I was getting ready to ovulate over the weekend and even used my digital OPK last night - and yep - gotta a big ole Smile .

when I asked her about that this morning she said not to use those when I'm on medication - it will give false positives. Really?

I am so effing pissed right now. So my free Gonal-F - totally wasted. She is going to talk to the business office tomorrow to make sure we are credited correctly for next cycle. Oh you can bet your sweet ass I am not paying another $1375 for an IUI package. And she said she would work on getting me more medication. Glad I didn't waste my ovidrel trigger tonight.

The nurse that monitored me yesterday (on a Sunday morning so obviously not the regulars) had my follies at 17 and 14 one on each side. Oh no - that wasn't correct. there were 2 --- only on my left one at 19 and one at 21! WTF?????? I should be doing the IUI today with those damn numbers.

sorry to rant but I'm so upset...........

I'm so sorry.. that is terrible. I would be pissed too!! I think you need to complain to whoever is in charge there.

That sucks. I think the OPK's are actually reliable up until the point you trigger. After that, they will pick up the hcg from the shot. My RE's office told me to use them and call to push up the IUI if I did get a positive prior to triggering.

I'm so sorry you went through all of that for nothing. Can you and DH try on your own tonight just in case the egg is still hanging around? ((hugss))

they should have had me back at the RE office on Friday, not Sunday. I have short cycles as it is. Oh DH and I will be BDing tonight, tomorrow morning and tomorrow after work - just to be sure. I think that big ole 21m follie is just waiting!!!!

Interesting your RE office told you to use the OPK before the trigger. Last IUI they monitored me much closer. I'm not sure what changed this cycle.
