tell me why you love being a mom

in Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Today has been one of those days (actually it continues to be as DD is still crying but that's another story...)

Please remind me why being a mom is great.  Right now all I can think is, "why did I ever want this???"

    I get so mad sometimes but then they do the cutest things or look so sweet when they are sleeping I LOVE being their mom! :)

    I live for  his smile. He has been sick  for a few days so I haven't seen  much of it and I miss it dearly.

    The smiling, the laughing, the nursing, the looking like I am the greatest person in the whole world... I could go on and on. There are very few things I don't like, which probably includes washing out poopy clothes and getting up early in the morning on the weekends!

    I love being a mom because there is nothing sweeter or that melts my heart more than Ryan snuggling with me when he's tired.

    I love the way his eyes light up when he looks at me, his smiles, his giggle, the fact that he's a piece of DH & I...I could go on.

    I love it because I can tell that DD is finally recognizing me as her mother. The older she gets, the better being her mom gets. I can snuggle with her, hug and kiss her, and have her actually respond. I love seeing her little personality develop and it's amazing to be a part of something so big and beautiful right from the start.
