When will you TTC again?
I know this question is asked all the time on here, but I always am interested to read the answers!
So...when will you all TTC your 2nd (or 3rd) and how did you come to make that decision? And how many children do you want?
I'll go first....
For us, we're undecided. Due to a planned c/s because of placenta previa and a lot of blood loss, my dr. told me to wait at least a year. Somedays, I think we'll start right after Aidan turns 1, and other days I think we'll wait until he is 2 or 3. I'm 30 and DH is 39, so that's a factor, too. Aidan is such an easy baby in terms of temperment and sleeping that it makes me want another soon, even though I know I probably won't get this lucky again! As for how many kids, at least 2 and very possibly 3. If DC #2 is a boy, we've talked about adopting a little girl for our 3rd and final child. If DC #2 is a girl, I'd love to have a 'surprise baby' for #3 since we would already have one of each.

We are only having two, but we will have to wait 4 years at least.
I am starting school for radiology and had to sign a waiver saying that I wasn't pregnant or planning on becoming pregnant.
I have 1 year (slightly less) of pre-req classes and 2 years in the program. Plus, I probably should become pregnant during my first year of work. Ugh.
So 4-5 years.
Sometimes I am ok with that, but other days I am sad, because I would really like another one now.

We'll have to be very brave, b/c DS and I both came very close to dying (the drs said maybe another hour or 2 and we wouldn't have made it) and it terrifies me to think of leaving Marino without a mom.
But, if DH and I decide we are going to TTC again, it will probably be when Marino is 4...where we live having 2 in daycare is like having a (very expensive) 2nd mortgage, so I'd like to wait until Marino is a) in school and b) more independent.
We definately won't have more than 2.
Originally DH only wanted 1 child, we compromised with planning on 2, but after DS was born, he's open to having 3, so we are still undecided on the final number, but at least one more. (Wow, hello run-on sentence, sorry)
We will probably start TTC again anytime after DS is 6 months old. We want them close in age, I'm already 30 and DH is 36, so I'd like to get going sooner rather than later.
We have discussed trying again when Alaina is 15mos old so that they are 2yrs apart. So that would be August '09. We got pg the first cycle last time so we're hoping to be that lucky again (we'd really like another summer baby and if baby#2 is another girl, we'd be able to use all of Alaina's clothes
). We only want 2 so we may consider not finding out the sex this time to experience what really must be such a thrill (to find out upon delivery) 
However, we need to be in a bigger place in order to have another baby so that's a factor, as well as my age (I'll be 34 this month) so we'll see.....
We are done. Two is the perfect number for us.
FWIW, my kids are 35 months apart (just shy of 3 years), and the spacing is wonderful. DS got to be the baby and I fully enjoyed his second year with out the distraction of a new one, also he was potty trained when DD was born. And now, he is independent enough to do many things on his own while I tend to the baby.
p.s. both my kids were a surprise in the delivery room- we didn't know the sex either time, and it was so worth it. I highly recommend waiting to find out the sex.

well, I'm already 30 and I really want to be done having my kids by 35, so I better get going!

If I could plan it perfectly, DC #2 would be born in March 2010, roughly 20 months apart. I want them close together even though I know it will be rough to have 2 under 2.
Jury is still out on whether there will be a #3. dh says yes, i say maybe.

hen, we said when DD is 1... but after spending the day with our 2y/o godson and DD, that scared me straight. Granted, our godson is the very definition of "terrible two" but still.
Now, looks like when DD is 2.
I already think about it...I know I'm crazy. We will probably wait though until DD is at least 6 months. I definitely want to be pregnant again by her 1st birthday...hopefully I will be that lucky. I think I would like 3...but we'll see how it goes.
