Re: Please reccomend your OB GYN

  • I go to Ob gyn care of south jersey in Lindenwold, which is right near Voorhees (on Gibbsboro Road).  I love it there.  I went there because I didn't like my Ob/gyn and my hairstylist recommended it.  The doctors there are great and the office staff is so helpful.  They always return my calls and answer my questions promptly.  They deliver at Virtua Voorhees.  I can't say enough good things about them!  The website is www dot obgyncareofsnj dot com/home.  GL and HTH!

  • I don't have any recommendations as my practice is in Washington Township, but I just wanted to say so sorry that you are having problems with your practice especially at this point in your pregnancy. Hope you find someone good soon!
  • I see Cherry Hill Gynecology (on Fellowship Rd in Mt. Laurel), and have been very happy with them.  There are three docs who deliver, plus a MW/NP (who actually ended up delivering my 1st daughter and did a great job).  They have evening hours, all three of the OBs listen well (plus, wo of them are young and female, which for me is a plus). DH and I have been very comfortable with them.  They deliver at Virtua.

Sorry you're having issues so far into your pg, I hope you find someone you're happy with!

  • I use Women's Health Associates (you can search for Dr. Rosen to get the number or see their website).  LOVE the practice.  They have 2 offices, in in Washington Twp and one right next to Virtua Voorhees.  3 docs that deliver and a nurse midwife.  Haven't met one of the docs yet since she is new but the other 2 are fabulous!  Dr. Rosen delivered my son.  It was kind of a tense situation for a bit but he was so calm and so confident, handled everything, calmed me down and I ended up with a short delivery and a healthy son.  Never wait long in the office, appts are easy to come by, the office staff is so nice!
  • I got to the OBGYN Specialists in Voorhees by the hospital.  It's a 2 doctor practice, both women. They're wonderful and saw me through some problems and delivered my daughter in December. I'm very happy with them.
  • I use cooper obstetrics and gynecology. they have mutliple offices including mt laurel and cherry hill.. i've been going there for years as my gynecologist and they couldn't have been greater when i found out i was pregnant. Dr Kathryn Suarez is my primary and she is fantastic, great bedside manner and truly interested in my pregnancy. easy to get and appointment and any help i need.
  • Garden State OB/GYN at the corner of Cooper and Evesham Roads.  They're directly affiliated with Virtua Voorhees, so that's the delivering hospital you'd be connected to.

They have about 25 docs in the practice with about 12 who do hospital rotations.  They also have 2 nurse practitioners and a midwife (who also has hospital rotations).  During the course of my pg I made it a point to see as many of the 12 as I could because I knew any one of them could have been my delivering doc.  I never saw one who I didn't like!

They are very helpful, the wait times are short, the staff is friendly.  I really don't have a bad thing to say about them!

Some of my favorite docs are Articolo, Bridges-White (goes by White) and Mackey.  Good luck.

I could have written the exact same post!  I have been going to them for years, and when I had some difficulties staying pregnant, they were very proactive in getting me to a specialist.  I have seen all the doctors.  my son was delivered (C Sect) by Articolo and Dr. Colella.  I also really like Dr. Goldstein.

the only downfall.... since the practice is so big, when you do go to deliver, unless you have a scheduled C, you have no idea who is going to deliver the baby, so it's not as personal as some practices, but they have their own wing in the hospital, so I always felt good with that.

  • Is Moorestown too far to travel? If not, Drs. Minoff and Chapman are amazing. They also have a NP, Nurse Stopper I think her name is. With this practice they are the only doctors you will ever see unless you choose to see the NP. I have been with them for 8 or so years now and they are esay to get along with and familiarize themselves with you very quickly.

I could also have written this.  I also like Dr. Steigner.  There are actually no doctors I don't like.

I had severe pre-eclampsia and had to deliver suddenly and early.  Dr. Mackey was on call at the hospital and delivered my daughter via C section.  I had very high blood pressure post delivery and was on a magnesium iv and had to stay in the recovery room for several hours until my bp regulated some.  Dr. Mackey stayed in the recovery room with me for hours.  Granted it was the middle of the night and she probably had nothing else to do, but I appreciated it, especially because I was scared and out of it.  My c section scar is also beautiful...she has to get some credit for that.

  • I go to Garden State as well, love them there. Like others said, wait times are great, staff is all friendly, all the doctors have been friendly, appointments are easy to get/reschedule if needed.
  • I go to the Magness/Stafford practice in Cherry Hill/Sicklerville. I always see the NP, Pam Reynolds-she is the best! She is super sweet & makes you feel so comfortable-hope this helps:)
