Re: Please reccomend your OB GYN
I see Cherry Hill Gynecology (on Fellowship Rd in Mt. Laurel), and have been very happy with them. There are three docs who deliver, plus a MW/NP (who actually ended up delivering my 1st daughter and did a great job). They have evening hours, all three of the OBs listen well (plus, wo of them are young and female, which for me is a plus). DH and I have been very comfortable with them. They deliver at Virtua.
Sorry you're having issues so far into your pg, I hope you find someone you're happy with!
Garden State OB/GYN at the corner of Cooper and Evesham Roads. They're directly affiliated with Virtua Voorhees, so that's the delivering hospital you'd be connected to.
They have about 25 docs in the practice with about 12 who do hospital rotations. They also have 2 nurse practitioners and a midwife (who also has hospital rotations). During the course of my pg I made it a point to see as many of the 12 as I could because I knew any one of them could have been my delivering doc. I never saw one who I didn't like!
They are very helpful, the wait times are short, the staff is friendly. I really don't have a bad thing to say about them!
Some of my favorite docs are Articolo, Bridges-White (goes by White) and Mackey. Good luck.
Piper, 4/10/10
Connor, 3/16/15
Morgan, EDD 9/22/16
I could have written the exact same post! I have been going to them for years, and when I had some difficulties staying pregnant, they were very proactive in getting me to a specialist. I have seen all the doctors. my son was delivered (C Sect) by Articolo and Dr. Colella. I also really like Dr. Goldstein.
the only downfall.... since the practice is so big, when you do go to deliver, unless you have a scheduled C, you have no idea who is going to deliver the baby, so it's not as personal as some practices, but they have their own wing in the hospital, so I always felt good with that.
I could also have written this. I also like Dr. Steigner. There are actually no doctors I don't like.
I had severe pre-eclampsia and had to deliver suddenly and early. Dr. Mackey was on call at the hospital and delivered my daughter via C section. I had very high blood pressure post delivery and was on a magnesium iv and had to stay in the recovery room for several hours until my bp regulated some. Dr. Mackey stayed in the recovery room with me for hours. Granted it was the middle of the night and she probably had nothing else to do, but I appreciated it, especially because I was scared and out of it. My c section scar is also beautiful...she has to get some credit for that.
