Nora Judith 7/2/06 Miles Chauncey 4/20/09 born with Trisomy 21 - Down syndrome
So...doctors found a tumor in my dad's spine :(
They're sending him to Mayo in Rochester for a biopsy in about a week and a half...we're trying not to read too much into it yet, but even the doctors said in their notes there's a high likelihood it's cancerous.
Not sure if this would mean actual bone cancer, or if it's a tumor from cancer elsewhere in his body but it's very scary and I could tell all weekend he's pretty worried about it. Very quiet and withdrawn.
Could use some of those T&P myself...cancer is like a plague in our family unfortunately. I hate it.

T&P to you. A good friend of ours just got home from Mayo about a week ago. She had a tumor removed from behind her cheekbone (I think her 9th she's had removed.) They are excellent there, he will be in good hands.
Also, hope you're doing alright. I think about you often.
