I normally lurk and laugh my @ss off at how funny you ladies are. Well it has been dead, so I thought I would post a poll.

Were you ever THAT person on thebump? Meaning, did you ever get flamed to high hell for asking a stupid question? If so, what was it (if you remember)?

My answer yes........a long time ago I asked BOTB if I could be pregnant (I was) and mentioned to Pets that I may have to rehome my cat (I still have the cat). Yep, I was THAT girl.

Nah... I am non-confrontational IRL, and also on TB. I steer away from posts where I would have a potentially flame-worthy comment/confession for fear of confrontation LOL.

Yup! I was flamed big time especially by ABC and I think Princess (and probably more) for saying that I had baby fever. I stuck around though!

I was flamed on my very first post for saying "baby dancing" and someone wrote GBCBOTB in 3...2...1...

I explained that my mom called it baby dancing and asked what GBCBOTB meant, clearly no one answered me, lol.

I was too green to know I was getting flamed and kept coming back. Sorry ladies, you're stuck with me! HAHA

I never wanted this to come out, but...

my first post was asking why my first period off BC was 10 days late but I was getting BFNs.

I didn't get flamed too badly but I felt really stupid and lurked for a LOOONG time after that.

That is my deepest, darkest secret.

Though, back when I first started hanging on BOTB before the bump existed (2006) my first question was one that I didn't get flamed for then but I know I would now. Honestly, I'm kind of surprised I didn't get flamed then.

Oh yes. I apparently have a really fugly house. Well, the decor. The house is great, the decorating is ecclectic (or maybe cluttered is the word). Ya'll had a field day with that one.

Yet here I am. And my house still looks like an antique store.

I'm not a regular here...but, one of my first posts was asking if eating artichoke was ok while pregnant...

I was told my baby would come out with spikey arms and leaves...

I think I earned it though...:)

About 2 years ago, I did the whole "am I KU?" fishing post thing. I said that I'd been lurking for ~6 months on BOTB, and while I meant that I'd logged on for a little bit every time I thought about being KU (maybe 2x/month), I was accused of lying because they thought that I meant I'd been there continually for that time frame. I was flamed to high heaven. It was a stupid question and a misunderstanding (and probably a slow day as well).

I've moved on, educated myself, and I realized that the girls who flamed me are actually nice people and not the b!tches I thought they were.

I have been flamed a handful of times, not for questions, but for wording and unpopular opinions. One time I was insanely obsessive and thoroughly deserved it (the red hair phase), another time I was (wrongly) accused of being insensitive. But I maintain that every time but that one, I was merely misunderstood :]

I came on over to BOTB from The Nest to ask if I could be pregnant. I was 4 days late, because my cycle is clockwork, and still getting negative preg test. Was it possible I was pregnant.

OH MY!! I then lurked for a year and learned a lot.

well OF COURSE!

before TN/TB - i was flamed on my wedding board because my cat was sick, and we couldnt afford another round of meds. Apparently cat meds should come BEFORE children's food. Silly me.

Oh yes, and I also should have been psychic before taking the cat in, because at the time we took him in, I had no idea we would have financial struggles - but I should have known that before makign a commitment to the cat.

I'm also pretty sure people here were pissed off with me, as Avery was a pull'n'pray baby.

And, I got called out for saying something about my ex and his wife TTC, i was icked out by it. She saw the post. People here took her side. I apologized to her.

I've never been flamed too bad, or really called out on anything (knock on wood), but I'm pretty non-confrontational anyway so I avoid topics where that could happen.

I do remember getting flamed by whats-her-face, Chrys... something. Had the little boy named Sebastian, lived in CA, moved to Canada.

It was something related to Thanksgiving...

Not with this sn. Back when I was planning my wedding in '06 I got flamed for not giving all details and things were misunderstood (because of my extremely poor wording). I started lurking here and realized that I shouldn't have my last name as part of my sn so that's why I changed names.

I've been around since 2003 ... since before this place looked like this ... when it was just a white screen and one line post titles running down the page. There were no boards. No division. Just one page, one place.

Do you think anyone could be around for 7 years and NOT be flamed at some point?
