Morning..
Question ladies.. After your loss how many cycles did it take for AF to get back normal (or as close to normal as possible)?
After my loss in April I got AF on 5/27 which was exactly 28 days after the vleeding stopped. My "normal" cycle is usually 27 days like clock work, which I thought it would be this month. Well low and behold today on CD25 I am bleeding. Arghhh! Should I expect it to just up and change? or maybe this is just a fluke? I know, I know.. Your cycle can be totally different after a m/c, but what has your experience been?
TIA
Re: Your Cycles after a loss
Mine went right back to normal.
Are you using the basal thermometer now? Good luck
I was going to get it today... LOL until I went to the restroom this morning and saw bloody murder . CTHU
I plan on picking on up on my way home.
My cycles used to be perfectly predictable (30 days, with O usually around CD 14-16). Now it's a whole new story. My first post m/c cycle was 37 days and horribly hormonal. The second one was 31 days but with O on CD21/22 with a 9 day luteal phase.
I panicked and went to my doctor on Thursday, who is arranging for me to see an RE, but also pointed out that it is still soon after the m/c and it's very likely that in a few cycles I'll return to my old schedule of things. I'm hoping she's right.
We'll see what happens this round...*sigh*
BFP #2 EDD September 30, 2012 ~ natural m/c 5w4d
broken hearted, changed forever
Mine took about 2 cycles each time to return to their typical length, but I spot before AF now, which I didn't before my losses. So I guess we'll see if mine ever really return to normal.
FWIW, my doctor said it can take up to 6 months post m/c for your cycles to regulate.
Missed m/c 11.09 | Missed m/c 3.10 | We miss you & love you so.

Normal cycle: 30-31 days. First after M/c: 40 days. Second: 35 days. Third? Hopefully there won't be a third b/c we got our green light to TTC again and are covering all our bases and trying based on the timing for a 30 day cycle plus a 35 day cycle- I ends up being nearly 2 weeks of trying the old fashioned way-- DH is not complaining and since I'm not temping or charting and all of that, it would be so exciting if it worked!!
GL!
My first AF after m/c arrived 29 days later. I was excited because I was hoping to be back to my 30 day cycle. Well, AF number 2 didn't arrive until 38 days later-- a week after I was expecting it. I felt pretty horrible for 2 weeks waiting for it to come, hormonal, sick to my stomach, tired etc. I am not charting yet either, but keeping track of CM this time and doing the long TTC "dance" too.
