Whats your best gourmet baby puree recipe?

I like to cook and make LOs food.  Id like to be more adventurous with what I make.  What is your best gourmet combo puree?  or any fun finger foods (other than the "norm")?

Re: Whats your best gourmet baby puree recipe?

  • Well, this isn't super gourmet, but it was out of the norm for me. I did roasted pear and banana puree for DD this morning. You slice banana and pear and bake them at 400F for 25 minutes, let cool and then puree. Roasting carmelizes the fruit and gives it a sweeter, more intense flavor. It was super easy and DD loved it. I know . . . not gourmet, but it was something besides steaming for us :)

  • I did the roasted pear and banana recipe from weelicious.com too! I totally recommend it. We're going to do the viggie puree next.
