Nursery video monitor recs

There are a ton of different video monitors and I am looking around wondering if anyone has any opinion on one over another. Do you have one that you would recommend or not? I'm looking at either the Safety First or Summer brand color video monitors, but would love to hear about any experience or comments you have on others.

    It is awesome!! Such a clear picture!! In fact we had company over last night and I had the hand held monitor to watch her with me and I turned it on to show ppl and they could not believe that was "right now". They thought the live picture was incredible..I would definitely recommend it!!

    I have the crazy expensive on(hey, sombody bought it for us) from BRU that has the 7" color monitor & the handheld unit.  I absolutely love it!!

    I have the summer infant day and night handheld. It is the one recommended by baby bargains and I love it. The picture is great, both day and night.

    We registered for the Summer Infant slim and secure. I don't think we're going to get it before the baby is born though since s/he will be sleeping in our room and $$ is tight. We'll probably wait until we transition to the crib and use a 20% off coupon somewhere.
