Hello! I need to transfer to a high risk OB that delivers at Good Samaritan or St. Joseph's because of complications in my pregnancy. My LO has heart problems and will need surgery soon after being born. Advice or recommendations are appreciated!
aw mama, i don't have any recs for you for those hospitals, hopefully someone will chime in. i just wanted to tell you i'll say a prayer for your little one. i'm so sorry to hear but hope you have a smooth delivery and everything goes well with the surgery
I saw several MFMs while pg with DD1. Perinatal Care Associates is great. The doctor I saw was John Garbaciak. He was very nice and explained everything step by step. I was able to keep seeing my regular OB (whom I love) and he just monitored the progress until I reached 34 weeks.

I have heard great things about Dr Urig from a high risk friend as well as a well respected OBGYN. She delivered at Good Sam, so I am not sure if he also has rights at St Joe's. He is consistently on the PHX Top Doctors list as well.
I am currently seeing two doctors at St. Joes. My high risk specialist is Dr. John Garbaciak and my regular OB is Dr. Susan Morton-Pradhan. Their offices are only 2 floors apart on the St. Joe's campus. They are in frequent communication with one another and have provided me with excellent care thus far. I have been really pleased! Good luck!
I don't know an OB that delivers at those hospitals but I am seeing Karrie Francois at Scottsdale Perinatal Associates and everyone there is really great. They are affiliated with Scottsdale Shea Hospital. Hope everything turns out for the best!
