Baby teeth grinding. Does your kid do this?

It's like nails on the chalk board for us, and I can't figure out how to get her to stop.

Normal phase that she'll get over?

Thoughts?

    our pedi said its totally normal. they are just discovering their teeth. corbin did it every second for like a week and now he just does it occasionally.

    Yep, DD has done it too. Not too often, but like you, I can't stand it!!

    Sometimes I can get her to stop if I put my fore finger on on cheek and thumb on the other cheek and squeeze gently. (kind of like playing with her cheeks.) This gets her to drop her jaw a little and stop grinding.

    DD does this and apparently it's normal. My friends have all said that their kids did it too. Like pp said just discovering their teeth. It is an awful sound though!

    He used to do it all.the.time.  It literally makes me cringe and sometimes turns my stomach.  He does it less often now but when he does do it it makes me crazy.
