I am having the WORST indigestion pain overnight. I feel ok when I go to bed but then around 2-3 AM I am woken up with terrible heartburn and indigestion. I'm not vomiting and there's no diarrhea, just pain that keeps me up for 2 hours at a time. I have tried not eating for 4 hour before bed, tried tums, and cutting fatty and caffienated foods out of my diet. These symptoms are only occurring at night. It probably feels worse to me because I never really had much indigestion before this. I know its caused by the hormone but there has to be someway to avoid or alleviate this.
Has anyone else had this problem? What helped?
Re: Anyone else experiencing this? Need advice
The pain is tolerable and temporary, I will talk to the dr about it when I go if its still happening. My brother has gall bladder issues and he says its on one side of his body, my pain is right in the center. It's most aggravating because I can't sleep through it. I feel like if I threw up I would feel better but I can't throw up
Check with your doctor, definitely! It could be several different things.
I had my gallbladder out 8 weeks after DD#2 was born and my pain was in the center as well. Turns out the stones were moving. The pain came and went as well.
Good luck!
it might sound too simple to work, but try eating a slice or 2 of apple. My husband had bad heartburns one night and I looked up the internet to see what I could give him to make him feel better and they said to eat a slice of apple. It worked for him. They say not all kinds of apples work. Look it up the internet, youll see, you have nothing to loose to try anyway...
