means having all your neighbors as family. Which means when you forget there is a wedding being held at your Great Aunts NEXT DOOR, you have to get serious.
So today at 7am I was outside working: Cleaned up limbs (from storms), trimmed a few trees and bushes, mowed the yard (atleast the acre and a half thats in grass), cleaned up around the pool, cleaned the pool, (DH worked on the pool and weedeated), weeded the small garden, pulled the briars out of the azalea bed, halfassed repaired the pool fence (atleast enough so it wouldn't look bad in the background of their pictures) planted greenbeans, fertilized, showered, went to a wedding and the reception, went to the movies store and walmart, dropped the gift off because I forgot to get a card and had to pick one up at walmart.
I'm a little sunburnt despite my use of sunscreen, have blisters on my feet, my back hurts, I'm exhausted and we are trying to watch a movie while hearing screaming and Baby Got Back blaring from the DJ next door...LOL
Good times. It was a beautiful wedding and they are partying hard. I'm very happy for them. (my cousin)
And that was my super long crazy day.

I agree with BGG and I'm constantly amazed by the amount of stuff you get done in a day.
Also, it must be nice to be able to walk home. I frequently have to drive at least 30, often 200+, miles to get home from family events.
When I read some of your posts, I wish you were my neighbor
Seriously, it sounds like you have you sh!t together when it comes right down to it. There is no way I do half the yard work you do, and I have wayyyy less yard.
Hope you got to see at least some of your movie.
