The next time I'm pregnant I'm not telling ANYONE when I'm due. Now that everyone knows they are driving me nuts!!

    Goodness forbid if you actually go AFTER  your due date. people call every 5 minutes. it is LOVELY!!!

    i stopped answering my phone the entire 8 days after my DD

    My next pregnancy i will not be announcing our name choice. I get so many unwanted opinions when asked what we decided on for a name. It's going to be kept between DF and I next time!

    I completely agree. Next time, I'm giving everyone my 42 week date, that way I know the baby will be here by the time my "due date" rolls around. People have been calling and texting me nonstop for over a week now. I just want to send out a mass text message that says "I'll let you know when the baby is on the way. Until then I'm not giving any updates on the status of my cervix, station of my baby, or otherwise private information."

    I have been thinking the same! 

    And people wonder why their calls are going to voicemail. Hemmm....if you call me more then once every could days (when you didn't until a week ago) there ya go!!!!

    Were also going to keep the names we choose private.

    I have yet to receive the calls, but then again, I'm not as close as you ladies are. My mom and MIL either call or text every few days though to ask how I'm feeling, and that already annoys me. Once I get closer I will be turning my phone off.

    If one more person asks me if I've had an internal yet, I AM going to explode!!!!  Seriously....what would I do with the information?  be totally discouraged b/c there's nothing happening or have my hopes up that I'm progressing, only to stay that way for 2 more weeks.  LOL!!!!  I've been making DH answer the phone for me....poor guy!

    I hear ya.  Yesterday, we took DS to see a movie and have dinner with his friends.  I turned my phone to silent and when I checked it later I had text messages asking why I hadn't answered my phone and was I in labor.  I still have 17 days until DD!

    I am soooo doing this. I've been telling people "before the end of the year..." A) because I wasn't sure about my LMP so the due date is a guess anyway, and B) because I hope to avoid the calls y'all have been talking about, and C) there's a lady at my church that is preg too. I so do not need to be compared to her ever  step of this pregnancy.

    And I think for the fun of it, I will not tell my name choices or the gender if I can get away with it! HA!
