Lining up items in a row

DD has been lining up items in rows around the house. Thursday it was a row of books set up like a wall between the family room and hallway. Yesterday it was a row of bears all lined up head to toe with their butts in the air. Today all the magnet alphabet letters are in a row on the floor.

My only explaination for this new behavior is in dance class they take items and line them up on the floor to jump over them.

My friends daughter did this. There were always diapers lined up along the walls in their house. We just laughed at it at the time. Now she is 8 and super organized. I think it all started with the diapers.

DS does it with his toys. He will line up all his trucks or stuffed animals. He hasn't done it with random household stuff yet.

LOL that's cute.

My DD doesn't do this... instead, this morning I found a cookie in my towel drawer next to the bathroom. She's a hider.

aidan has always been like this. she puts them where "theyre in a race!" or "i put them in a line!"

but its for everything. her piggy banks, loveys, cars, food in her kitchen... lol all organized. she does things like this (scroll to the cups) around the house all the time. lol
