  Yes, similar to those.  I need a fabric that air can get through, and no neon colors.  I don't think those will wick moisture or allow air through, which will cause chafing.

  Not really.  Just a good short that won't ride up, allows for air to circulate, and wicks the moisture.  I don't need a die hard short until I can do more than 5k runs.  I am looking for inexpensive right now since I need to build a wardrobe, plan on losing weight, and will need to buy it all again soon.

  They have some at Target and it's in their Champion brand line.  They're pretty nice. I think they're about $15. But I buy almost all of my running/work out stuff at D!cks because while you may end up going cheaper in the beginning my stuff from D's holds up much better. I just bought some stuff there yesterday. They are having a Father's Day sale right now & I am sure there are coupons out there. I had one for $25 off my purchase. Buying specifically running shorts will help tremendously with the riding up.

  I wear nike brand running shorts/pants. I dont know what they actually are. But they come just above my knee, and are made out of a material between jersey/under armior (sp) mix. to wick the moisture away. I love them b/c while they are form fitting, they are not clingy and they dont ride up when working out. I have several pairs, bought them all at JCPenny. They clearance their workout attire frequently, so I just watch for it, usually pay about $10 a pair. Also...Have bought a large portion of my clothes at TJMaxx, you have to search, but I havent spent over $10 on an item. My favorite sports bra's come from target though, the champion c9 line, extremely comfortable, they wick the moisture away, and keep things in place. LoL Hope that helps.

  My favorite running shorts are by far the Nike Tempo shorts.  They are not form fitting, but I haven't had a problem with them riding up.  I bought them at ***'s and have about 7-8 pairs.  All of my sports bras are from Target's C9 collection.  They are inexpensive, but hold up pretty well.
