pillows & blankets

What is the age they say it's ok for LO to sleep with a pillow and blanket?

I feel like I heard it's one year, but I feel like that's a long time away (rolls eyes at myself.. time is flying so fast... a year is nothing...)

Also, I took LO's bumper out of the crib... Is that not used anymore, or do you put it back in later in life?

    We actually just put it back in. LO is rolling all over at night, limbs were hanging out everywhere and I was afraid she'd smack her head or something.

    My little girl has slept with a blanket since day one but I don't do a pillow.

    I heard age 1 is the appropriate age for it.

    That's sorta why I was wondering about the bumper's... LO is rolling and sometimes he wakes up crying and his leg is hanging out.   That's gotta hurt!

    both of my girls have blankets, and i just gave my DD1 a pillow she is 2 adn just got into a toddler bed but half the time she doesnt use it anyways because she turns and rolls around and ends up at the foot of the bed.
