My Father's Day gift is pretty lame

I know all the things DH would want: a weekend away, a new grill, a new watch....all those things aren't in the budget.  So, DH got a book on CD (he loves them for his 2 hour commute days).  I'm also going to frame a picture of LO's daycare picture (which DH has forgotten we got).

    Don't feel bad, I did the dad pictures and spent .29 on it at Walgreens for the collage.  We are broke.

    That's awesome!  I love the dad pictures.  I didn't even get it together enough to get a D, and A and a D to take the pics.  I found myself at Wal-Mart last minute today shopping for him while he was checking out with groceries.  Bad mom.  I hope you have a great day regardless!

    I wanted to do the dad picture too, but ran out of time. I'm just giving him a gift card to the hat store...he loved baseball caps and needs a new one.

    I'm just doing cards from DS and me, and making DH his favorite breakfast. ?Then we will just spend the day doing family things! ?We don't do fancy gifts or anything either, our budget is also tight. ?
