UGH. I'm so aggravated it's ridic. I'm a Pampered Chef consultant and at the end of April my Aunt's niece found out and contacted me to book a party. So we scheduled her for the beginning of June. I called her EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. for 2 weeks before hte party. She finally called me back the morning of the party and said that she had to cancel b/c she's soooo busy with work blah blah blah wanted to reschedule b/c she had so many people that wanted to order things etc. Rescheduled for tomorrow... told me to call her the day before remind her and then email her the ingredietns she needed to buy.

So I call her this morning and leave a VM and then I sent her an email. She JUST emailed me back saying that she can't have a party tomorrow and that she needs to be in Poughkeepsie for work. Great. Thanks. I could've tried and booked a show for tomorrow but now I can't b/c who wants to have a party on a 90+ degree weather day last minute?!

Well I refuse to rebook her. I'll put her on my calendar but if someone else wants to book a party that day I'll give them the date. Should've learned my lesson the first time.

I would explain to her that this is your "job" that is how you make $ & that it is like her not getting paid for a days work. I don't think a lot of people get that when it is a party like that. SUCKS

Thanks. At least I know I'm not pissed for stupid reason. I'm going to try and pick up a catalog show or something this month... this way hopefully I can get a few more sales and what not. Still annoying.

I would be p.o.ed also. It may be a party to her, but it is how you make a living. Can you get catalogs to the people she said wanted to purchase?
