We've narrowed it down to 2 names we both really like and probably won't make a decision until we meet the little guy, but curious which the board likes better? Our last name is one-syllable with a hard "C". [Poll]
Although I'm still not sure what I think of alliterative names (although one of my girl front-runners is), I LOVE the name Colin, so that's what I voted for!

Ha, this is my issue, too. I love the name, but not crazy about how it sounds next to our last name.
I like both names, I would have voted for Colin but since your name starts with a hard C I went with Nolan. I have a thing about double letters. Nothing wrong with it, it just bothers me.
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

Story of my life, sista! I don't really like how any of the names I pick sound with my last name. My friends say they sound fine, though, so maybe I'm making too big of a deal out of it, hehe.
I should note that after we had identified Nolan as one of our top picks, we also found out it was an old family name on DH's side. We really like that aspect of it.

Definitely Nolan Patrick! I love the name Patrick - that is actually my favorite on the list.
I don't like Colin.

I picked Nolan cause of your last name.
This. They are both great, but I voted for Nolan.
Great choices! I voted for Nolan Patrick. Avoids the alliteration issue and I'm partial to the name Patrick...it's MH's name
