My brother is currently using the program and said it comes with a phenmoenal nutrtion plan as well as a very intense weekly workout. Just curious if anyone else has tried the program and has an opinion.
DH is using the workouts... but not 6 days a week and not with the nutrition plan, like recommended. He eats pretty well already and fills his other days with other activities. So even though he's only doing it a few days a week, I can see a difference. They definitely work.

It's hard core, and different parts of your body will be very sore non-stop.
I would say it's not for beginners. If you already workout and are looking to change up your routine with something different, then it's a good option. If not I would stick with something that's less upper body/muscle building intensive, and more like 30DS.
I've done both. I never finished P90X, because I threw out my back part of the way through and then just never got back into it. BUt it was definitely a good workout. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's LOOOOOONG. Sometimes the workouts are an hour and a half, and I didn't always have that kind of time.
I'm on day 3....yay lol. its hard! I am doing the diet and it's really good but I wouldn't do the diet without the workout because it's a lot of protein if you aren't working out pretty hard. I am super sore, it reminds me of strength training in college for soccer. It's def. designed for already "fit" people. I like it so far though, it's a great workout
I have it and did some of it and it's hard - but I think do-able. You are encouraged to work hard, but at your own level, which I think is the beauty of the workout - you can't grow out of it. I didn't do the diet - I eat lowcarb and that works for me.
Many ppl say its not for beginners, but imho I disagree. Granted, its ridiculous, but you can get through pieces of it. At the end of 90 days, you'll get through the whole thing. As long as you keep that in mind and not get discouraged.

my husband did it and it really helped to trim down his belly. I tried a couple of the workouts and liked it, but I've never been very disciplined at exercising and I just don't have the time. It is pretty intense but you can do it!!!
