Weekly appt. update

I had my weekly appt. yesterday and things went much better than last week. Baby's heart rate was 128 bpm and my belly is still measuring right on track. Unfortunately baby moved from -1 station to -2, so he doesn't seem to understand he is supposed to keep moving down, not backing up. But I was 30% effaced but still no dialation. I'm glad he is healthy but was hoping for a little progress.

I'm starting to think he knows DH is injured and wants to wait a while longer so he is better and can take care of us when I go into labor.

    Who knew babies could move up back up?!  I'm sorry that there wasn't more progress made, but maybe you're right about him waiting for Daddy to be a little better for his birth.

    Our babies are just not ready to make their grand entrance yet.  Hoping for progress for next week.

    Glad it was a better appt that last week.  I can't believe he moved back up?!  That's insanity.

    I know! I thought it was strange that he moved back up but wonder if he was just being pushed down lower because of all the contractions? Don't know if that has anything to do with it, but was the only thing I could think of.

    Sorry he moved back, but at least your DH can maybe figure things out before your LO arrives.
