    I guess I I can give it a start...

The pregnancy had been flying by until I hit the 3rd trimester. Now, it's just baby steps. I'm so much more run down and achy at this point than I was with my 1st pregnancy. Had an Ob appt earlier this week. Overall, everything is fine. Baby measuring small; 25th percentile; but can't complain as this was the same with my 1st. Only thing is I've been having some soreness in the region "down there"; almost as if the baby is in between my legs (sorry TMI). I told my doc and she checked me,  Not dilated THANK GOODNESS, but to my surprise my cervix is already a bit soft - NOT good at this point! So I have to take it easy or will be going on bed rest. And this I definitely do not want as I would like to finish my residency on time. But let's see what plans God has for me; hopefully I can keep this baby in as close to due date as possible, and definitely until I am full term!!!

  • I'm feeling fine. My hips hurt terribly at night, so sleeping has been a chore, but it's been that way for a few weeks already. I know it'll only get worse. We can see the baby move from the outside now, so we're pretty enamored with that. Any time I feel the baby kick (just when I'm at home, that is), I throw up my shirt and stare at my belly. LOL
  • Great idea.

My visit with the perinatologist yesterday went GREAT!  We found out we hare having 2 healthy, big baby boys.  They are measuring 18 wks!  They weigh about 5 oz each, with h/b of 138 (a) and 148 (b).  B has taken on the more active role, and A (the original "dancer") is now more timid.

My OB confirmed the boys again today LOL and said that the latest he'll have me go is Nov 15!  So, my butterballs are sure to be here for Thanksgiving (due date is a couple days after Thanksgiving Day).  He also gave me clearance for intercourse (woohoo - sorry, it's been a while - since before babies were concieve - strange to say that) and mild exercise (walking).  Blood pressure is low (lower than my normal low), but doc wasn't concerned.

I'm feeling great these days.  A lot more energy.  Some headaches and constipation, but all normal.  Now, my sisters and I are in shower planning mode.  And I already told DH that we have to begin registering once we get back!

  • I am feeling as well as can be expected.  The summer heat is FINALLY baring down on me, as i have been trying to push it to the back of my mind for some time.  Most days i leave the house with my hair in a wet braid, and rarely do make up anymore =[ i would just rather save my energy for stuff like... well walking which is also becoming increasingly painful.  I have been experiencing dry skin, whihc i NEVER had with my first, so i upped the water intake which is giving me more heart burn... ok this is turning into a pg rant.  My body is just tired! lol

Otherwise i feel GREAT! I am getting SOOOO excited to meet the new man in my life =] I am thankful for the fact that i have only put on eleven pounds so far, as i am sure it is making the pains i do feel, minimal.  I am so in love with the way my daughter loves her brother, ALREADY!  She talks to him everyday, puts him into our plans, and makes jokes about him already lol  My DH is officially a lawyer, so i feel like this summer, our lives will finally begin with our complete family and a bright future ahead.  Poor guy has VERY little room to kick as much as he used to , so the activity has slowwwwwed down, but he is still very active.  So happy for all the bumpies on here! YAY for new babies =]

  • Well I haven't posted on here IN FOREVER!! I guess I just get too busy posting on my birth month board, and 3rd trimester that I just flat out forget to post on here = /

But: my pregnancy has been going pretty smootly. We actually got into a car accident 3 weeks from tuesday and I've been on bedrest ever since. I have been having more aches and pains than normal, and it feels like the baby is going to fall right out of me! Idk seems weird. My LO is a very active girl and she loves to push her foot out and it's really cool to watch! It seems like the humidity really slows me down and causes me to swollen like a hot air balloon, it also actually hurts to walk sometimes because it feels like my pelvis bones are grinding! : ( I don't get out  much during the day because it's so hot, and i feel guilty because my 2 year old doesn't get alot of outside time during the day.  Other than that, I look forward to seeing our LO in 5-9 weeks!!!!
