Hi,
I am planning a trip to the beach to visit the grandparents with my 3 month old. I would like to take him onto the beach for short periods and I am thinking of getting a tent for him. Does anyone have any suggestions about which beach tents or SPF clothing are the best? This is also my first overnight trip away from home, so any packing advice is welcome!
thanks in advance!

I am thinking about investing in one of these for travel and beach use....
I'm taking my 2mos old to the beach for a week as well.
I plan to take detergent (I'm sure I'll haveto wash some clothes for her and her cloth diapers get done daily)
I also plan to take netting for over the pnp and maybe that Off clip on thingy to keep the bugs away from her (I will only clip it near her not on her though)
fpr actual beach trips pack a few towels/blankets. One for lying on and another for wrapping baby up in to nap. A few hats in case one gets wet. Also bring a little thing of baby powder to get any sand off the baby...it's magic how well it works!
Regarding tents, I have the older version of this one.

It works well, and folds up super easy and small. It's about the size of a medium pizza.
Also, I would have an umbrella for shade outside of the tent for you and LO, at least 2 blankets/towels, an extra swimsuit and hat (the wind will invariably blow at least one hat off LO's head), plus your regular diaper bag stuff, and as pp suggested baby powder to get the sand off.
