I wouldn't suggest it, they put you under sedation for ER and you can be pretty drowsy after, besides I always needed that day to rest to get over the crampiness.

My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

I wasn't in pain, but I had to sleep off the meds for sure.
If I couldn't drive after the meds, there's no way I would have been any good in the office!
I took that day and the day after off. Although I wasn't in any discomfort, I am glad I didn't rush right back to work because if I didn't get as much rest as I did, I may have had some pain and stuff.
