First AF PP?

Was your first AF PP really long? I stopped bleeding PP after a week and a half. At 4 1/2 weeks I started cramping and got AF. It has not gone away! AF usually last 5 days it's been almost 14. Not only that but it is stop and go. Just when I think it has gone away, it comes back full force. I have an appointment tom. and I plan on asking then. Just seeing if any of you have had anything similar.

    I think that it's pretty normal for your periods to be out of wack after having a baby.  I am on cycle # 4 and each one of them have been so different.  Some were really short, others were really long, and I have been bleeding longer.  So, I would ask your Dr., but I think it's okay.

    Yes, my first AF was about 12 days long.  The first 5 days, it kept starting up and then stopping.  Then, I had a major gush and it was sooo heavy for 2 days, then it started tapering off.  Mine are normally about 6 days long, no spotting...just starts up heavy then tapers off.  So, yeah, the first one was not normal!
