Semen to help soften the cervix
I read today that it is way more effective if it is swallowed and not inserted vaginally. DH will be happy.

In a book at Barnes and Noble. I'll look it up online and try and find the exact book. It wasn't "What to Expect," but one right next to it.

I was just sharing something that I thought was interesting. People post on here about their rough sex attempts to go into labor. I just said that I read something. Sheesh!

I tend to believe the stomach acid would kill the sperm though...I promised DH we'd try it though...he's a happy daddy-to-be!

trying to figure out how the digested semen makes it to the cervix & if you swallow on a regular basis wouldn't that wreck your cervix if this was so.......

"Some circles?" WTH does that mean which circles would that be referring to. To me that is saying this is an OWT. It's like some peopl think that caster oil causes you to go into labor. I know people who have tried that and it just gave them severe diarhea. I would put the oral sex thing in the category of OWT personally at this point. I believe the sex thing though, there is a lot of evidence that it is effective when the cervix is ripe.
