non-clicky poll: PG Tickers. When did you make one?

I'm still too afraid to make a pg ticker and I'm 11w1d today. Not sure when I'll feel comfortable making one.

When did you make yours? As soon as you got your BFP or did you wait? If you waited, how long?

I made one and put it in my siggy after we graduated from the RE. At that time I was just over 9wks, I was too afraid to put one up before that.

With my first BFP I put one up right away - only to take it down a little over a week later.

I swore I wouldn't put one up again until I saw hbs.

So, after we saw the triplets' hbs, I put one up. Only to be slapped in the fact again when I had to take it down at 9 weeks.

I think I waited at least 1-1.5 weeks before putting another ticker up again. I just wanted to make sure the remaining baby was looking ok before I felt comfortable having one.

So, I was probably around 10-11 weeks when I put up the ticker that is in my siggie now.

i was going to wait until 12 weeks and the start of second tri, but after my NT scan, I was feeling so good about things, that I decided to put it up at 11w5d.

I was about 10 or 11w. We had had 3 u/ss by that point and had never made it that far before. It was tough but I decided to take a leap of faith and just do it. In a way, it helped things feel a little bit more real.

This cycle, I decided to add a ticker after my 3rd beta because I needed to try to relax and let myself enjoy this pregnancy for however long it lasts.

I think it'll SUCK if I have to take it out, but I'm trying to not think about that right now.

I think you should add a ticker whenever you feel comfortable doing that.

Hopefully I'll make it to the point when I feel like it's okay to add a ticker. I think it might be after we see a heartbeat or at 12 weeks... I have to see how I feel.

thanks, ladies. I'm happy to see all the tickers with lots of weeks on them! I'm hoping I muster up the courage to create one soon.

I've been lurking around on the 1st Tri board and am always so stunned when I see tickers that say "3 weeks 6 days pregnant!". It must be nice to be so optimistic!

I'll admit, I was a little nervous to put one in my siggy. But I was playing around on all of the websites and they were so cute. Plus I wanted something to help me keep track, even this early along. When I had my CP I never even saw a positive hpt, only my bloodwork, so I never had to take one down then. I'm hoping and praying for the best. Like the others have said, it's really when YOU feel comfortable.

I think at about 7 or 8 weeks. After we'd had about 3 ultrasounds or so.

After my 2nd beta I put it up. Thankfully we saw the hb's already but of course one is always going to be cautious. It's more for my personal use of keeping track of how far along I am. I've been through more than enough and trust me, fear gets the best of all of us. Now I'm taking life one day at a time and trying to stay neutral and not stress over every detail. If things don't seem to work out for the best, we are still always going to remember dates and how far along we were. Least we can do is stay hopeful and enjoy the ride for what its worth. JMHO

That's exactly how I felt too! I waited until 13 weeks to put one up.

My last pregnancy, probably immediately.

This one, I have one created, but I waited until after 20wks (i'm psycho that way)...and I haven't put it in my siggie yet and won't. (don't like ppl seeing how far along I am...again weird)
