Are you planning on getting an epidural? Is your doctor going to induce labor to be sure you are able to get it?
I NEED an epidural. I speak from experience
I am terrified that I will go into labor and not be able to get it. My labor with DS #1 was only about 12 hours, which I think is kind of short for a first baby. I'm scared this one will be shorter and I won't have time.
Re: Lovenox ladies epidural question...
Yes, and yes. I had an epi with my first daughter, and absolutely plan on having one with this one. My first was 3 weeks early, so we'll be switching from Lovenox to Heparin soon so that an epi will be possible.
I switched from lovenox to heparin at 36weeks 3 days. My water broke at 37 weeks about an hr after I took the heparin shot. When I got to L&D they did a bleeding time on me (done about 5hrs after my injection). After they got the result they gave me the ok for the epidural. I got it, labored a few more hrs, and ended up with a c-section. I had no complications from the epidural or the c-section at all.
