So what are you giving DH for Father's Day?

I asked DH what he wants and he said, and I quote:

"I would be very happy if you got me 2 cleaning shrimp for my aquarium"

LOL

(Oh, and DD and I made him a card and bought him a bag of his favorite candy to go with it)

    I got him and DS a matching t-shirt set... DS's says "Chip" and DH's says "old block"  I thought they were hilarious and couldn't pass them up :)

    if i were to ask dh what he wants for father's day, from me, he would most likely respond with "some ass."  but, i am getting him 2 golf shirts and a pair of shorts.  :-)

    I got him the magic bullet and a copy of the book Paradise Lost (yes, DH is a nerd). Also the DAD photos along with some other wallets of DS.

    A Harmony universal remote.  DH is always complaining about all the remotes and this one got really good reviews.  I'm pretty excited about it!

    the dad frame, a fingerprint of DD's finger in silver made off etsy with her name and out for something called a 4 handed massage on saturday.

    Giving him the frame with the DAD photos and a scrap book page for his father's day, will give him one each year.  another bumpies idea.  Plus I need to go to the store and get an iphone arm band.

    The gift is from both of us.  But we got him MarioKart for Wii, an extra steering wheel, the new Alice in Wonderland DVD (with Johnny Depp), and 2 cards (one from me and one from DS). 

    Oh and I found this really cute "Dad & Me" book yesterday so I got that and I'm going to write in the front of it...."Dear Daddy, This is our special book for you to read to me.  Happy First Father's Day!  You're the best!  Love, Christian"

    honestly, I had a really hard time doing anything. I didn't even get a card.

    He's not getting anything from me. He told me on Mother's Day, "You're not my mother so I'm not getting you anything" so he gets nothing in return.

    Wow. That's bad. I'm sorry!  I would've been really hurt. FIL said that to MIL and I was blown away- but I expect that kinda stuff from him...

    1. He's getting crawfish for dinner Saturday night (with his parents coming over for dinner so we can celebrate his dad too).

    2. He's getting chicken pie for lunch on Sunday (with my parents)

    He knows both of those.  What he doesn't know:

    3. Breakfast in bed - if I can get him to stay in bed.  If not, I'm cooking him breakfast.

    4. I got him this hat that he really wanted.

    5. He told me all he really wanted was a steak and some, um, quality time.  And I don't know about the steak because there with the other two meals, that's a lot of food - but I might be able to work something out with the other request...

    DH plays guitar so I got him a guitar book of Children's Music. Most of the music he knows is rock, and some is not very child appropriate :) I also got him the Little Monster book called Just Me and My Dad to read to DS. I should probably get him something else from me, but haven't decided what yet.
