We use Dr. Emmons for our LO. We've been pleased so far. He's appropriately concerned/ cautious about things that warrant it, but doesn't go overboard. He has reasonable schedule availability, and returns calls (though honestly I haven't needed to call much at all). He's great with our LO and makes the exam easy and relaxed. He's also responsive to my questions, requests, and concerns. Please note that he's not the most talkative person, but he does communicate effectively (but if you're looking for a super bubbly and really talkative person, this is not the doc for you).
Also, not sure if training matters to you, but the residency he trained at is known to be high quality.
In full disclosure, his nurse leaves something to be desired. She's not necessarily bad, but she is by far not my favorite nurse.
Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
