Cohen has been getting up no less than four times a night for the last two weeks. When are these darn teeth going to be in already? I can see them, they just won't pop through.
Last night, he woke up shortly after I put him down and then stayed up until 10 for some reason. So, all the work I had planned to get done didn't happen. Up again at 12:30 for about 5 minutes, but I woke up anyway. Then up for over an hour at 2:30 fussy and you could tell he was in pain. Up again at 5:15 for about 15 minutes.
We had bad thunderstorms last night, and sometime between 5:30 and 7:20 the electricity went off. My dh leaves for work at 5, and my alarm didn't go off, so I woke up at 7:20, which is when we usually leave the house. Of course, the one time the kids actually sleep in is today. Normally, they would have waked me up before the alarm was to go off anyway.
At that point, I said eff it, I'm not even going to rush, so I got myself ready and let the kids sleep in. Cohen was awake and happy, so I left him for awhile. Went in at 7:45 and he had a messy diaper and it had leaked EVERYWHERE. All over him and his bed.
Gave him a bath, got the bedding in the wash. Holy...I felt like the day should be over by this point.
Re: Frick I am tired. And whiney, so sorry in advance.
That was my day yesterday. E goes on these 5-7 day no-poop stretches but decided that 2 a.m. would be a good time to unload. It leaked everywhere and of course it's dark so I don't realize this and it's on ME too.
At least it's almost Friday.

Sorry. No sleep is rotten. No sleep and poop, blergh!
May the orajel fairy visit often.
Yikes. That's a rough start to the day.
It can only get better from there, though, right?
