Breastfeeding and Imodium AD

Can I take Imodium AD while BFing or something like it? Should I wait a certain amount of time after taking it before BFing? After eating dinner (meatloaf, potatoes and salad) I got horrible stomach cramps and ended up having a normal BM, followed by bad diarrhea, sorry for the TMI. I'm guessing that dinner just didn't agree with me, even though I didn't eat anything strange and DH and my parents ate the same thing and they are fine.

I asked the local pharmacist, but just got "I guess so," and he didn't sound very confidant. ?

I know you can take it while pg, so my guess would be its ok while bf.

I'm pretty sure that it's virtually the ONLY thing you can take outside of Fiber suppliments (of course). No Pepto etc. Sorry for the tummy troubles, I have IBS and know them well!
