Since our bodies can't digest the calcium in Tums, and it builds up calcium deposits, possibly on the placenta, creating a problem of it not separating after birth, I've elected not to use it for heartburn. Suggestions for relief have ranged from raw almonds (doesn't work), cashews (works, but is uber fattening), and calcium and magnesium suppliments (doesn't work right away). Anyone got any clue what to do? This is keeping me up at night!
Re: Heartburn!
Ugh, I wish I had the answer!! I'm 14 weeks and just starting to get heartburn. It is definitely not fun. You might post this on the 2nd trimester board where there is more activity.
I'm a Louisville,KY mom-to-be, but I hardly ever check this board anymore...
I was just going to look at some of the back-posts and check out any posts on daycares!!
Oct. mom's board has a whole lot on daycares, too, if you want to come over there and check that out. I think there were two or three posts in the past couple weeks about it.
