Gift for couple adopting 13yo Chinese gal?

My CWer will be heading over to China next month to finish the adoption proceedings on a 13 year old girl. She knows very little English, and I think they've been listening to tapes to learn Chinese. I would love to buy them/her a congratulations gift, but I have no clue what to buy! Any suggestions?

    Maybe a picture frame that says something about family on it?

    Something they can do as a family.  Movie tickets, gift card to restaurant, gift card to Target to help the family be able to shop to decorate the girl's room, tickets to an amusement park.
