I called today to set up the transfer to our new place for our services for Mid-July.... (Rogers is our cable provider) And the bugger CUT OFF OUR SERVICES NOW!!!! And of course, since the internet still worked for some reason, and we didn't have the tv on for most of the day, we didn't find out until after 5pm!!! So instead of my IL's being able to call us, our phones had been cut off... which explains the busy signal they kept getting. 3/4 of our cable services were cut, too. I had to call them, from my cell phone, and spend the better part of an HOUR on the phone with them! And the best news - our phone may not come back properly for up to 24 hours

. When we pick it up, all we hear is someone's TV. Soooooooooooooo annoyed!!! I'm going to call customer service and whine about the whole inconvenience of it all... especially if our phone's not back by then.

All our services are Rogers, too. Sometimes they SUCK. But if you make a big enough stink and threaten to switch to Bell, they'll credit your account.
I'm actually a bit surprised they didn't offer me any kind of credit for the inconvenience, especially since it was their fault to begin with! Heck, they gave me a $50 credit when the service guy who was supposed to set up our services here when we moved in did a ring and ditch.
Hehe, yeah, I'll make a big stink, believe me... they made me miss my call from England, and my pregnancy hormones have been making me psycho b1tch, so one way or another I'll get something for my troubles!
